It has been a tough year so far for teachers across CISD. Mainly when you have no specific plans for how to deal with curriculum and discipline.
We know once again that reading is down this year. If you look at the final results by tea, some of the schools are right with the district average. Which means that there is no outlier group that is making big gains, it's coasting.
Discipline is still an issue where teachers don't get support and truly our students are not being supported socially and emotionally to avoid spending money.
Also Powell has indicated to the schools of choice, that students who are transfer from other campuses to attend the program, will count for their home campus and not the adopted campus. This was to make sure the home campus did not loose their best of the best. So now you have teachers on one campus helping the other campus. So some principals are not happy because they promoted and worked hard to sell the programs and now they won't get credit on their state results. Example is the dual language program which has now been diluted completely. You have more english speaking students in the program when it was supposed to be balanced with both languages. So basically you have a regular program teaching non-spanish speaking students. There is still no type of specialist support, no bilingual diagnosticians or support for SPED, etc. for spanish speaking students. The list goes on and on.
And yes back to discipline, teachers are fed up at the secondary level where students are cussing and basically harming staff. Lovette was seen at a few schools finally after being lost. But showing up is not going to solve anything, actions speak louder. So he purged last year and now the results are there, worse than before.

MANSFIELD DUMPS CISD
We know that issues are rampant at CISD schools and just to add one more due to bad behavior by students Mansfield ISD decided to stop playing Crowley in sports. It is truly the students fault or the lack of structure by the leaders of the district?
The district seems to take a law and order approach, Trump is alive and well at CISD.
Their tactics are counterproductive because they are not dealing with the issues affecting students rather reactive decisions that make no sense and basically just hide the problem.
The students react to how the central admin reacts and as Lovette said, what you allow you condone and so here we are.
All we can say is too many chiefs who have no direct impact on students.

TEACHER ASSAULTED AT HFS: SYSTEMIC ISSUES ONGOING
There are sure many angry people from the victim, parents and even central admin.
It seems that a teacher was assaulted and the student remains or remained at school indicating that no discipline or action had taken place. Fights are ongoing and everyone just walks around asking what is going on or what can be done about it.
Well the first solution of central admin was to replace the administration. Then they still don't fund the needs of the school and they run the school like many others from the top because they are afraid of what might come out. Well Central Admin and Board Members, the system is broken and has been for many years. Segregating students to one feeder pattern and section of the district is not the solution. Refusing to fund them with Title money is not going to help because the school lacks resources.
We heard from some parents that a plan was given to them for this year by the last administration and it was thoroughly drafted to address concerns to avoid serious situations as much as possible. As we know that didn't sit well with Central Admin and so now we are here.
So the student that attacked the teacher remained at school because it seems no processes were in place to take care of the situation.
There is but one person in charge and we have beat that horn enough that it does not move the Board nor Powell to make changes. You keep ignoring the elephant in the room and it got bigger and now you can't move it. The system will never change just because you replace people, look in the mirror and look at what you have done to make it worse. We feel bad for the teacher and those that continue to suffer because of egos. So it seems that the many chiefs cannot help support or help create a better system for the teachers and students.
The sad thing is that no one is doing anything about it and so the cycle of violence continues. You can't fix a system in one year and yet the district administration thinks so since the revolving door continues.

CLASSES OVERCROWDED AND ADMIN NOWHERE TO BE FOUND
We received a message that leveling has not occurred as of Friday and some classes have 35-45 students with some sitting on the floor.
We know that leveling happens within the first weeks of school. While admin will say that it monitors the numbers they don't realize what is truly happening inside the school. How do you expect children to learn packed like sardines? What happened to not suffering in silence when students are suffering and admin cannot provide any type of temporary remedy until it all gets situated?
It's the same style of governance that the current central admin has had for many years and its no surprise here. They sit high at Mount Olympus!
We know David Walker needs support and we are sure others as well.
Can we use some of that Title I money to hire more staff or at least teacher assistants to help with numbers?
Anyone listening?

WAY TO START THE YEAR CROWLEY ISD!
Well teachers we are back at work and lots of celebrations... and yes areas to be proud of around your school.
But let's catch you up on the news-
Scores came out and the district brought out the propaganda machine to display how much the district has exceeded standards and Powell downplayed it as not getting too caught up in the system that we have, basically saying.. we take credit for the good and but blame the system for the bad.
Did you see all the results? Well your boss probably shared it and results are blah! A few schools that keep performing- take a look, you may need to click on the picture to make it bigger.
But let's catch you up on the news-

So we have two schools not meet standard and a few that would have been on the list but remember the state only counted index 1 or index 2. So in reality you would have 6 schools not meeting standard but you won't hear that anywhere in the communication. Come on now- we know Reading is down, if you look at Index 1 which is how many kids are passing STAAR, it is not very positive. The district is happy with just passing the minimum that they celebrate it.
But what do we see here, Bess Race Elementary did not meet standard and why not promote the principal. Yes the Principal got promoted early on to central office but of course she is close friends with Lovette so it doesn't matter. Remember you are safe as long as he is ok with you.
This is the spin machine!!!
Then we hear from a parent that the district did something illegal, which is nothing new. A parent went to register a student and the parent was denied because the child did not have a social security number. Well you would think with the change of demographics that they would know it is not required. Denying a child entrance is against the law. But of course Crowley does not like "these" kids, minority, so they push it where they can. This is coming from a district that had to be told to print items in different languages and even with the promotion of the Choice Schools the committees were still not wanting to do it in other languages. So again just like SPED, Discipline, etc. The district wants to remain the way it has always been, toxic and incestuous.
Wait they have Mia Hall who is now Equity Director and should know how to instruct the district to not discriminate. You would hope but then she is not so straight forward herself.

CROWLEY ISD BOARD MEMBER MIA HALL HURT STUDENTS!
Well we have a board member who stoked controversy in FWISD where she is back on the job. She was put on administrative leave for hurting students by outing them to their parents, bullying and harassment. She got a settlement agreement that puts her in a director position in the legal office. But the biggest stink here is that she hurt the kids she was supposed to protect and gets promoted.

THE LOVETTE REGIME ATTEMPTS TO SQUASH BLOG
Well it seems that our friends at the top have gotten word of our blog and its factual description of the regime being run by the mafia of Lovette and CO.
This has been their way of making sure nothing negative ever comes out about the district. Everything they do is behind closed doors like running schools when they have a principal in place, not giving resources to schools that need help, etc. They focus so much on stuff that makes no sense and forget the real reason they are there-academics and creating a safe positive working environment. Well for those that are in the in group it's easy and nothing to worry, it's the rest of us who are outcasts who get nothing. Our jobs are always on the line when top admin can make up stuff, get people to write false statements and your job is done. So keep an eye out!!
Know that the regime has people who go into schools and report back so that when they are ready to fire you they have what they believe is enough information.
Be on the lookout for David L Walker who has a school named after him. He goes into schools to report back to Lovette. So he only gets Walker and other retired principals to go into schools to support so they say but its basically to gather intel. The other one is Dan Manning who runs a quasi leadership business, making money doing nothing but showing powerpoint, and will also rat anyone out be it teachers and admin.
Why else is the district filled with so much bleach at the top? Yes all lives matter but it seems only those that take trips with Lovette and CO are in the group or they do what he says regardless. Poor Mr. Bill Johnson, they only keep him cause he is black and can't find a way to get rid of him. Yes Mr. Johnson, it is a known fact around the building but no one will say it to your face. You have no actual authority and we know that. All people who are of another race have no real authority, just there to say they have diversity. Look at all the power spots, all white. Look at Megan Dixon, how did she end up in that position when the majority of students are minority, no reflection of the population of the district. So they hire minority staff to run schools but know that you are not in control. You get the oh do what you need and when you do they come down and cut you down. So don't believe anything they say... document, keep track of everything because they are and will make your life miserable. People who have left the district will tell you.
You would think that Lovette would help out with the C & I Department who don't go to schools to help but only to visit friends. What have you truly seen from the department that has made a difference? If anyone has anything please comment because year after year it's horrible. If people make gains it's because of their hard work and not because of the department. You have one director who is black who has no power because the coordinators are loyal to Lovette and will whine to him and they get to do whatever. It is so who you know and a family affair big time.
Has anyone ever wondered how after so many years Crowley expects to get better when you have the same people? Isn't that the definition of insanity?

Not sure if we should sing Ding Dong the Witch is Dead yet until we can formally know if it is true.
The rumor has it that she had a complaint filed on her by someone and that basically end it all. Guess Lovette is all about no lawsuits or something to cut her favorite.
If true, her followers and kiss ups will be in mourning. Who will it be next?
Teachers make sure you document any abuses, there are outside agencies that will listen to you. If your boss is bullying you or harassing you, always respond in email to any concerns. Remember the district hates email!! because it doesn't hide their mishaps. Anytime you have a conversation, write it down. Lovette likes to work at saying that any little thing, just take care of it or address it but then when it comes to firing you, he will use it against you. just a tip!

THE POWER BEHIND THE SINKING SHIP: LOVETTE AND TREAT
We wanted to highlight these two individuals who have great power in the CISD to make changes that affect the entire district. One would say well Lovette is deputy so he should realistically- he is leading the district right now while Powell sleeps and that's a true fact. Treat moved up the ranks because of who she is not because of what she knows- remember the school she lead went into IR status which normally would have given her a demotion like many other principals but instead she was promoted- Powell saved her. Parents need to know that because of her the school is rated IR for three years regardless of scores of which they have not improved much. Then she gets promoted when others got demoted of which the demotions were mainly AA principals. hmmm!
Lovette rules by fear and intimidation. He is a bully who yells at his own people no matter who you are to make sure he gets his point across. He yelled at a woman principal at a meeting, slammed his fist on the table and everyone there was like what the hell! You dare not oppose him in any way, well except unless you are in his group of kiss ass. He knows it real well that the people he has chosen to be around him are all related and have no skills. They project having things structured and aligned but in the end they do what they want. Take for example the hiring of administrators. They first developed a criteria that only people with admin experience will get interviewed which basically cut out many that didn't have at least department chair experience. So they go through the process to at the end select individuals who do not have the experience, take a look at who was promoted and do the research. The EEOC would have a field day with this.
Also we would like for the board and Powell himself to ask Lovette why he was building a profile on a school board candidate Gonzales in April prior to the election. Our sources tell us he asked for records on the child of the candidate to see if the student had priors and mind you he asked for it under the table, not by email or any other way that he would get caught. If you want proof ask him to show you his texts, if the district pays for his phone then that's district property and do a search. He violated election laws! Know that if you are targeted they will make up lies and coerce people to lie when they have nothing. Ask new Board Member Benton who Lovette targeted and she left. It's not secret, Lovette's own circle talks about it. His buddy principals like Gillies, Allen, etc. all say the same thing but not to his face because they have the perks.
Let's also discuss the years of harassment towards employees and his disgusting talk about women sexually. Yes, he is a creep! If it ever comes up, sources will come forward and testify about his demeanor on the looks of women, etc. Mainly women principals.
Treat is a bully and harasser in her own right. As principal she targeted people and trained many of the other principals that you have like at Sycamore and CH9. When they don't like you they will go after you. She is this way because she is allowed to- as our sources pointed-Lovette likes to say if you allow it, you condone it. Interesting Dr. T- how does it feel to eat your own words? She has her favorites and let's them get away with anything.
The most interesting thing is that they want to allow diversity but do so to a certain point. Central Admin is a racist pool and they know it- look at the make-up of the district and you will see. How do they deal with the black students- suspend and lock them up. Look at the data for discipline, that's why TEA is coming down soon- Remember that they refer to AA students as "those" and not as ours.
Maybe someone can tell us, what do you expect to do better with the same people in power? What has Lovette done to improve the lagging reading scores or the lack of support for GT students? What PD do you have that has improved anything- Treat your own principals don't even follow what you spit out. Insanity is ruling CISD and no end in sight.
Let's see if the captain goes down with the ship or will the Board let them go before it sinks-

T-TESS: WHAT CISD IS PROPOSING FOR TEACHERS NEXT YEAR
T-TESS is set to make sure everyone has an area to grow. So even if you are top teacher, you will have stuff to complete. Don't forget that failure to complete it can cause you to be written up. But also know that principals have to follow policy or you can file a grievance.

The district wanted to make sure they can let you go easily because they lost the power from PDAS. While they will tell you they want to help you grow, it's a lie. Technicalities will get you. Make sure you read the fine print and get with your organization to know exactly what they will do. Know that third party information can be used against you and so far they don't have to tell you like PDAS. So watch out and be alert. Document everything, conversations, etc. Use email to communicate so that it's on record. Crowley hates email.. not us.. we will use it.. Don't use district cloud services.. they monitor them and will use that against you to retaliate. be careful.. use your own drive to save all of your information. Big brother watching.
